Custom Modded Vintage Cherry MX Switches

Cherry MX Vintage Blacks have a distinctive acoustic character — a soft, scratchy rustle comparable to the sound of dry autumn leaves. Quieter than modern MX blacks, they retain a classic Cherry clack but with a gentler, more textured presentation. Their sound and feel carry an organic inconsistency that many enthusiasts seek.

Cherry MX Vintage Browns are among the most refined switches in the Cherry lineup. They deliver a full, consistent feel with a classic vintage Cherry sound signature, free of leaf ticking and defined by a clean, dependable bottom-out. Their tactility is smooth and composed, with a natural cohesion that modern Browns rarely replicate. Very limited quantity.

Switches are lubed with a light, even coat of your selected lubricant by default. You may request a medium or heavy coat of lube in the cart notes.

Lube application method varies by switch type. Listed below are the default lubing methods:

Linear switches
- Stems are completely lubed
- Front leaf contact points are lubed
Tactile switches
- Stems are completely lubed apart from the legs (unlubed to preserve tactility)
- Back of the leaf is lubed to reduce ticking
Clicky switches
- Stems are left unlubed to preserve the clicky sound
- Back of the leaf is lubed to reduce ticking
